- Call for nominations for 2008/2009 Global Executive
The Global & New Zealand legal Law aggregators' group will soon be calling for nominations for some future positions on our Global Executive for the 2008/2009 year:
- President
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Global Convenor
- "Legal Information: Globalization, Conglomerates and Competition-- Monopoly or Free Market," delivered at the recent AALL annual meeting in New Orleans. In this paper, Kendall F.Svengalis clearly notes the result of the monopolisation of legal information with the resultant "collection devastation."
- The IALL Annual Course in International Law Librarianship, "Global Challenges and the Indian Legal System", will take place this year in Mumbai from 1st to 5th December 2007. The conference website.
